In conjunction with all the new Autumn Country stuff, we are very happy to post the next in our series of Autumn Country images - and to offer it as a print (and such) from the dA shop.

This is a large-format image, designed by ~vfiction to work as a poster, should the mood strike. This image features the fantastic Autumn Country logo designed by Ms. Sam Hogg (aka *Zephyri here on dA), and it is built on a background image provided by Tony the Misfit via cc:by license [link] .

Wow, what an image. It works on many levels - I particularly like how the straight, horizontal lines in the sky contrast with the upright figure and trees. That top line of cloud looks vaguely like the vapor trails from a jet; gives it a sense of movement. I dig how the figure is dark enough that the details of clothing and such are not distracting, but still defined with enough light so that it's not just anonymous shadow. And I like how the trees frame the picture - it lets the all the negative space sit properly instead of floating aimlessly.
Suffice to say, I like it lots! :D
