Fantastic New Stock Artist. (I Hope)

Fri Oct 23, 2009, 9:58 AM
One of my favourite things in the world is when someone that I already have a heap of respect for (because they are great at everything they do) does something entirely new. And they are great at that too!

As I mentioned somewhere previously :iconprincepyro: ~ ~PrincePyro (aka Megan MacNeel) is one of the most diverse and talented artists I know, as well as being a first rate martial artist and stunt person. That's in additional to being a super person.

Now she has ventured into the realm of stock imagery and right out of the gate she shows a true flare of the medium; great quality, fun costumes, weapons, a sense of humour, and three metric tonnes of attitude.

~

I hear that this shoot may have been done on a whim, so, as a favour to me, please go check out her gallery, say 'Hi', and let her know that we really want to see some more stock. We can never have too many awesome stock artists, especially ones who have their own weapons AND know how to use them. :D

Since we live in the same city, maybe you guys can even convince Megan to come over and do a shoot with me. Perhaps we could gets some shots of her throwing me off a building or kicking me in the head! :headbang:

More soon.

Jade's Stock Photo Request Policy:
----------------------------------------
As of March 2008, the only stock photos I will produce will be requests. If you need something specific for a project, I'd love to hear your pitch. To clarify, I'm not looking for ideas (I've got plenty of those), I am interested in collaborating with serious artists who need specific images or references. Please see this journal entry for complete details: [link]

Jade's Stock Usage Boilerplate
-----------------------------------
The rule of thumb with my stock is: (Almost) No Rules. Do whatever non-commercial thing you want with them. If you need them to help you make a little dough that's great, just contact me so we can work something out. Thank you.

Reminds me of highschool when it was spirit week and I dressed up as 'Spatula Woman' for one of the days. Featuring spandex, spatuals in my hair and hands and a bed sheet.

So the struck eagle, stretch'd upon the plain,
No more through rolling clouds to soar again,
View'd his own feather on the fatal dart,
And wing'd the shaft that quiver'd in his heart.
:iconcedarseed:
Oh boy!

Hmmm. I'm still working on SNAK's fighting game contest. It may be too late, but I still want to do it.
:iconpythiadelphie:
I am running to my attic even now to grab a corset and some Spandex.

Well that woul be...interesting... :D
I once had a contest of imagining silly superheroes and their villains with a friend. I came up with Toothpastegirl and her arch villain Dr. Glucose. He came up with the evil Sister Angina.
In other words: I am looking forward to the outcome of this contest.

G'luck with that. We see how riveting the fighting stock challenge was. ;)

However, it might be time to break out my alter Ego Malicious Magma....

Superhero stock?!? It's like Christmas morning, only without my mom's dog bleeding on the walls! (It's not like it sounds, she'd gotten her tail caught in a door so, every time she wagged, there would be this... spray...)

Um, anyway. Cool.
