Coffee and Bullets for Breakfast Club. Double ++

Tue May 5, 2009, 7:59 PM
And just when you thought it was safe to sneak downstairs and swipe someone's coffee without having to worry about hot lead or cold steel, we have a couple new reasons why you're wrong...

:iconfreerange-stock: ~ ~FreeRange-Stock AND :iconywyh-s--morelenmir: ~ ~YWYH-s--Morelenmir bring us not only some fine pistol-packin', knife-weildin', coffee-drinkin' action shots, they bring us an entire cliff-hangin' narrative as well!

Here are a few of the thumbs, but you really need to check out the whole story here: [link]

~

~

PS Pay special attention to the expressions, they are priceless.

~ ~ ^ ~ ~

:iconmariospeedwagon: ~ ~MarioSpeedwagon shows us that it is never too early to start enjoying the wonderful nectar of the coffee bean, nor to start packing heat. O.o

~

~MarioSpeedwagon, best of luck! :D One gets the impression that this lad may be driving a Challenger by the time he's seven... :salute:

-------------------------------------------------

:iconpxrxsxrx: ~ ~PxRxSxRx is NOT foolin' around when it comes to his coffee. Here we see not only a classic take on the 'Coffee and Bullets' theme, we also see that ~PxRxSxRx is packing some real (CG) heat!

~

It takes an exceptional coolness to be able to take a fortifying sip from your mug whilst in the very act of pulling the trigger. Great image.

Aside from a few more images in this series, if you are interested in guns and cars and suits and drinking and appreciate a sense of humour you would do well to check out ~PxRxSxRx's; very imaginative and action-packed.

~ ~ ^ ~ ~

:icondark-nights-phantom: ~ ~Dark-Nights-Phantom brings a whole new meaning to the concept of 'cool prize inside'! Back when I was in college I used to enjoy a big bowl of the Cap'n's finest a couple times a day (at least) and I could have used this kind of backup when my roommates came to raid the pantry.

It occurs to me that the unique physical characteristics of Cap'n Crunch might actually make a decent improvised sound suppressor...hmmmm. Might have to test that one out.

~Dark-Nights-Phantom has brought us a excellent new twist on the theme. Visit her gallery for more great stock, writing and digital artworks.

For more information on joining the "Coffee and Bullets for Breakfast Club" see this journal entry: [link] . We're offering first time Stock Models a 550-cord bracelet to go along with the secret handshake.

More soon,
Jade

PS I'm obviously kidding about the secret handshake, since you can't shake whilst drinking coffee with one hand and shooting with the other. Serious about the bracelet, though. :D

Jade's Stock Photo Request Policy:
----------------------------------------
As of March 2008, the only stock photos I will produce will be requests. If you need something specific for a project, I'd love to hear your pitch. To clarify, I'm not looking for ideas (I've got plenty of those), I am interested in collaborating with serious artists who need specific images or references. Please see this journal entry for complete details: [link]

Jade's Stock Usage Boilerplate
-----------------------------------
The rule of thumb with my stock is: (Almost) No Rules. Do whatever non-commercial thing you want with them. If you need them to help you make a little dough that's great, just contact me so we can work something out. Thank you.

Thanks for the feature and awesome description of my work. It's much appreciated. I've been meaning to do start doing some drawing again so I might have to look through your stocks again and see if anything catches my eye... I could always draw myself, but then most people think I'm conceded enough, and they'd probably be right, lol.

Thanks again, and I'll let you know if I use one of your stocks for a drawing.

I hope there's some more additions to this challenge/club. It's been interesting seeing everyone's work. They've all been so similar and yet quite different at the same time.

It is NEVER safe, let alone an even remotely wise idea, to snitch someone's cuppa joe. Never know who is packing what!

Thanks for the awesome feature, Jade! Heh, the narrative was just as much fun as the shoot... :D

I absolutely love these. The whole narrative looks like something that would go on at my in-law's house if my father in law didn't get his coffee. These entries have all been so creative. You started something great. ;)

The only way creativity is wasted is if it is not used. There are no rights or wrongs. There are no imperfections, no limits, no rules. One must simply use the talents one has to the utmost to be a success.

Those are pretty good :D (although the baby and Capt. Crunch one was a little weird :giggle: ).
