I'm reaching out to you fine folks, since you are such a diverse and talented mob. I am looking for a few experienced world builders who have a serious interest in the genre of modern-day spy thrillers and who also have a taste for the strange and mysterious. Right now this is an experimental/creative project, so there is no moolah (but potentially a great deal of fun).
If you are a creative writer or a gamemaster with a heavy concentration in fictional worldbuilding this could be an interesting project for you. We will be playing around with the tropes of spy thrillers, high-tech crime, intrigue and international men and women of adventure. There is no magic, but there is definitely a large helping weird mystery and the truly strange.
We will be developing the structure, personnel, histories, exploits, and artifacts of several fictional agencies/organizations that are vying for control of a particular resource (which is a secret).
If you are interested, please send me a private message with specifics on your background as a world builder.
Thanks!
Jade
A couple of years ago, before becoming the proprietor of the most interesting nightclub in the multiverse, I was able to chat from time to time with some of my favorite artists and post those chats under the heading of a little podcast called Roulette. I’ve missed those chats.
I'm very fortunate in that I know some extremely cool (and extremely charming) people and I love hearing what they’ve been up to and learning more about what makes them tic. So I said, “Jade, just let Kij run the bar every now and again. Fritz and Keket will keep the chairs from being flung. You go out there and have a drink with some more of your favorite artists and chat about whatever the heck comes up.” I thought my inner monologue had made a pretty good point, so that’s what I did.
The first talented artist (and scientist) to sit down across the virtual cabaret table on this round of Roulette is none other than the wonderful Cassy-Blue, known to many in the world of bugs and fencing as Erin Barbeau. Listen in as we chat about stock photos, badass butterfly nets, beautiful bugs, bad movies, and plenty more. I had such a great time chatting with Erin; can’t wait until she sees Blade Runner so we can talk about that!
There’s only one file, but you can get to it several ways:
Stay tuned for more Roulette (and more Knavery). If you know anyone with whom I should chat, send me a note.

If you are under the impression that Roulette contains
serious interviews with hard-hitting, in-depth questions
you are woefully mistaken.
